ABSTRACT

While technology factors are the main driver of the booming real estate APP platforms with important implications for user behavior pattern during and post-pandemic contexts, there is a lack of adequate research. In response, this study explores the user behavior pattern of real estate APP platforms to promote user mental health by taking the real estate APP platforms users as the participants based on theory of technology readiness and acceptance model. Data collected from offline surveys are analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results reveal the technology readiness index positively affects individuals' perceived usefulness and satisfaction, ultimately positively affects individuals' continuance intention with real estate APP platforms;satisfaction with real estate APP platforms mediated the relationship between technology readiness index, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and individuals' continuance intention with real estate APP platforms. However, the group comparison finds no significant difference in user behavior patterns by gender. The contribution of this study is to reveal the influence mechanisms of digital technology on users' behavioral patterns toward real estate APP platforms, which can help guide the sustainable development of real estate APP platforms and promote user mental health and wellbeing in the post-COVID era.

ABSTRACT

Purpose: This study aims to investigate how online teaching of faculty members is affected by technological readiness (TR) of using online teaching platforms. The study sheds light on how many faculty members were ready to use different online platforms during COVID-19 period. Design/methodology/approach: This study used TR measures to determine the impact of optimism regarding the perceived usefulness and ease of usage, impact of innovativeness in terms of perceived usability and ease of use, the influence of discomfort on perceived usefulness and ease of usage, the effect of uncertainty on perceived usefulness and ease of use and the influence of perceived usefulness and ease of use on behavior. An online questionnaire survey was conducted among 255 faculty members of different private universities of Bangladesh. The sample was chosen based on a convenience method. The responses were analyzed using partial least square (PLS) approach with the help of software Smart PLS 3. Findings: The finding supported all of the hypotheses except that discomfort and insecurity have a positive relationship with ease of use and usefulness. Research limitations/implications: The study will help faculty members in developing their competency in using technologies in their pedagogy. Also, this study will provide some guidelines to the university management in developing adequate technological infrastructure to aid teaching. Practical implications: The aim of the study was to investigate the faculty members' readiness level with respect to online teaching. The technology assessment model (TAM) was used to determine the readiness index. The study intended to validate the hypotheses regarding the extent to which the faculty members perceived that TAM factors affect Ease of Use and Usefulness of online teaching. Also, this research analyzed the perception of faculty members that Ease of Using online teaching affects its Usefulness. Lastly, the study examined how their perception of Ease of Use and Usefulness affect Intention to Use online as a mode of teaching. It was found from the study that each of the TAM factors, Optimism, Innovativeness, Insecurity and Discomfort has positive and significant contribution on the Ease of Use. On the other hand, Optimism, Innovativeness, Insecurity and Discomfort have positive and significant contributions on the Usefulness. The study also revealed that Ease of Use has positive and significant contribution on the Usefulness. Lastly, it was found that Ease of Use and Usefulness have positive and significant contribution on the Intention to use. Teaching remotely is still a novel concept, and it is more difficult for people who have not done it before. Many teachers became burned out as a result of trying to adjust to new teaching methods, especially after the lockdown began. They were having a difficult time since there was so much ambiguity. When a teacher is well-versed in communication tools, it can improve learning efficiency. When they are properly trained, deploying engaging features of virtual learning, such as audio-visual lessons, quizzes, and so on, becomes simple, and students become eager to learn more. Teachers can plan their classes, prepare and master technology and create innovative and stimulating discussion topics (Mishra et al., 2020). They need to utilize a variety of technological options. They can rehearse virtual classroom management with colleagues if they face any difficulty. All of the aforementioned abilities can be honed with the assistance of an integrated academic system. Teachers can be trained by educational institutions to ensure a smooth learning process through the use of ICT (information and communication technologies) (Scherer et al., 2021;Mishra et al., 2020). The training will assist teachers in efficiently taking online classes. Institutions should ensure that teachers are well-suited to teach online and are skilled at keeping students engaged during remote learning. To make every chapter engaging, aspects such as videos, slides, images and digital copies of books and workbooks can be used. This allows students to receive personalized support and counseling in order to maintain their motivation (Sahu et al., 2022;Lapitan et al., 2021). Every other day, group doubt resolution classes ensure that there are no gaps in learning (Lapitan et al., 2021). All teachers require is a digital mindset, the appropriate tools and a committed approach (Sahu et al., 2022). If teachers can hold their students' attention, they can easily deliver an effective learning experience (Lapitan et al., 2021). Originality/value: This study was conducted to identify technological preparedness of faculty members of private universities in Bangladesh during COVID-19 period. Some studies were there to assess such kind of preparedness but none of those used TAM and technology readiness model either in isolation or in combination. ABSTRACT

PurposeThis study evaluates the impact of online menus and perceived convenience of online food ordering on consumer purchase intention and shows how a desire for food creates a relationship between an online menu and a customer's purchase intention. Suggestions for management are proposed to design an effective menu to improve business performance in the competitive market in Vietnam.Design/methodology/approachThe paper follows a quantitative method. Quantitative research aims to analyze and critically evaluate the research question(s) to discover new factors.FindingsFindings indicate a positive relationship between menu visual appeal (MV), menu informativeness (MI), desire for food (DF), the perceived convenience (PC) of ordering food online and intention to purchase (PI). The attractiveness of images and information is a significant factor affecting diners' desire to eat, while the demand for food and the convenience of ordering food online are also factors affecting purchase intention.Practical implicationsThe study confirms the importance of online menus to purchase intention. Economically, when supply and demand are reasonable, the market is stable and technology develops. In terms of social, hygiene, attractiveness and price factors, it is helpful to have an overview. Research is the premise for further studies with factors from menu to customer trust.Originality/valueThe study provides a solid foundation for further studies on restaurant menu elements as well as a new perspective on how restaurants improve their dishes.

ABSTRACT

Online and distance learning classes have been touted for the last several years as an innovation in higher education that should help improve the entrepreneurial growth mindset of students. However, the reported negative online learning experience of many college students worldwide during the COVID-19 epidemic has shown that many opportunities remain to improve the sustainable development and growth of online visual instruction practices. In this study, we outline and investigate a set of hypotheses related to the perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use (from TAM) of online video instruction in higher education courses during the pandemic. We employ grounded theory using autoethnographic case studies as a data source. We found that (a) synchronous broadcast lectures improve participant attitude (H1) and motivation (H2) toward online instruction, (b) prerecorded video instruction increases participant perceived "ease of use" (H3) and perceived behavioral control (H4) of online instruction, but (c) indicators of recorded dates on pre-recorded video instruction decreases participant perceived "usefulness" (H5) and "certainty" (H6) of online instruction. We enrich the insights of popular motivation models for organizations and the higher education industry by outlining a set of emotional elements originating in neuroscience leadership research (SCARF) that might either amplify or diminish the perceived the ease of use and perceived usefulness to technology usage relationships when participations engage in online learning situations.

Este estudo tem como objetivo determinar os fatores que impactam a intenção de Micro, Pequenas e Médias Empresas (MPMEs) em usar aplicativos de empréstimo fintech como uma fonte opcional de financiamento de negócios usando a abordagem do modelo de aceitação de tecnologia. A população neste estudo eram MPMEs na Indonésia. As amostras foram coletadas por amostragem intencional, selecionando indivíduos com base no critério de terem utilizado um aplicativo de empréstimo fintech licenciado para financiamento de negócios. A amostra consistiu de 171 indivíduos. Este estudo utilizou o modelo de equação estrutural (SEM) como técnica de análise. Os seus resultados mostram que a Facilidade de Uso Percebida tem impacto na Utilidade Percebida, mas não teve efeito na Atitude Face ao Uso. O fator de Utilidade Percebida tem um efeito na Atitude Face ao Uso, e Atitude Face ao Uso influenciam a Intenção Comportamental de Uso. A empresa fintech pode desempenhar um papel ao fornecer educação e capacitação para promover a compreensão da alfabetização digital para as partes interessadas das MPME. Os governos precisam desenvolver políticas que podem equilibrar inovação e mitigação de riscos. Alternate :This study aims to determine factors impacting the intention of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in using fintech lending applications as an optional source of business financing using the technology acceptance model approach. The population in this study were MSMEs in Indonesia. Samples were taken by purposive sampling with the criteria of having used a licensed fintech lending application for business financing. The samples used were 171 samples. This study used structural equation model (SEM) as the analysis technique. The results of this study showed that Perceived Ease of Use had an impact on Perceived Usefulness but had no effect on Attitude Toward Using. The factor Perceived Usefulness had an effect on Attitude Toward Using, and Attitude Toward Using influences Behavioral Intention to Use. Fintech companies can play a role by providing education and empowerment to foster understanding of digital literacy for MSME stakeholders. The governments need to develop policy frameworks that can balance innovation and risk mitigation.

ABSTRACT

In the post-pandemic business environment, small and medium-sized enterprises have experienced historic voluntary employee turnover. One potential contributor to this phenomenon is job satisfaction. Small and medium-sized enterprises serve as the main driver of the global economy, representing 90% of all firms and 70% of the jobs worldwide. This study investigated the relationship between employee development and job satisfaction in the post-pandemic business environment and identified if technology acceptance in the multigenerational workforce moderates the relationship. The study was conducted using a quantitative non-experimental design. Retail workers of SMEs in the state of Florida were surveyed using instruments to measure employee development, technology acceptance, and job satisfaction. The study found that (a) employee development remains a driver of job satisfaction in the post-COVID-19 business environment, and (b) technology acceptance in the multigenerational workforce does not moderate the relationship between the variables. The study's overall findings offer practitioners of SMEs fresh insights into the impact of the rapid deployment of advanced technology on the post-COVID-19 business environment and its implications on job satisfaction in the multigenerational workforce. ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for higher education institutions to modernize and embrace the post-digital age. This study evaluates students' perspectives of utilizing MS Teams as a means of facilitating remote learning during the pandemic. The Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) was employed as the theoretical framework to examine students' views on self-efficacy, facilitating conditions, ease of use, usefulness, and intention to use. The results showcase positive views of MS Teams, with self-efficacy rated the highest among the five constructs, followed by ease of use, facilitating conditions, intention to use, and usefulness. Additionally, no significant differences were found in students' perceptions based on gender. MS Teams has proven to be a successful platform for delivering online learning and communicating, bridging the divide of distance and time in teaching and learning. As discussions about the future of higher education in the post-pandemic world have commenced among academia and university officials, it is crucial to consider the impact of COVID-19 on student learning and provide suggestions for a more sustainable and effective post-pandemic education. © 2023 IEEE.

ABSTRACT

The number of inbound tourists in Japan has been increasing steadily in recent years. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the number of inbound tourists decreased in 2020. This is particularly worrisome for Japan, as the number of inbound tourists is expected to reach 60 million per year by 2030. In order to help Japan's tourism industry to recover from the pandemic, we propose a method of identifying elements that attract the attention of inbound tourists (focus points) by analyzing reviews on tourist sites. We focus on Hokkaido, a popular area in Japan for tourists from China. Our proposed method extracts high-frequency n-gram patterns from reviews written by Chinese inbound tourists, showing which aspects are mentioned most often. We then use seven types of motivational factors for tourists and principal component analysis to quantify the focus points of each tourist destination. Finally, we estimate the focus points by clustering the n-gram patterns extracted from the tourists' reviews. The results show that our method successfully identifies the features and focus points of each tourist spot.

ABSTRACT

PurposeThe present article aims to determine the factors that explain the intention to adopt electronic commerce among women traders in a developing country like Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) during a health crisis period.Design/methodology/approachThis study was conducted in the DRC, in Bukavu Town. A convenience sample of 282 respondents consisting of solely women entrepreneurs (importing traders) in Bukavu Town was selected and the structural equation model was used to test the research hypotheses resulted from Ajzen's theory of planned behaviour.FindingsThe finding results showed that only the factors attitude towards electronic commerce adoption and subjective norms which predict women traders' intention to adopt electronic commerce. The analysis shows that about 38.9% of the variation in the dependent variable is explained by the above variables.Originality/valueFew studies have presented technology and electronic commerce adoption as resilience of women entrepreneurs in a time of crisis, despite the abundance of the review literature on adoption. This study provides a new approach to assist women entrepreneurs as well as researchers in understanding the drivers of electronic commerce adoption factors in the DRC.

ABSTRACT

PurposeThis research aims to use meta-analytical structural equation modeling to look into how hospitality employees use technology at work. It further investigates if the relationship between the constructs of the technology acceptance model (TAM) is moderated by job level (supervisory versus non-supervisory) and different cultures (eastern versus western).Design/methodology/approachIn total, 140 relationships from 30 empirical studies (N = 6,728) were used in this study's data analysis in accordance with the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analysis.FindingsThe findings demonstrated that perceived usefulness had a greater influence on "user attitudes” and "acceptance intention” than perceived ease of use. This study also identified that the effect sizes of relationships among TAM constructs appeared to be greater for supervisory employees or in eastern cultures than for those in non-supervisory roles or western cultures.Practical implicationsThe findings provide valuable information for practitioners to increase the adoption of employee technology. Practitioners need to focus on the identification of hospitality employee attitudes, social norms and perceived ease of use. Moreover, hospitality practitioners should be cautious when promoting the adoption of new technologies to employees, as those at different levels may respond differently.Originality/valueThis is the very first empirical investigation to meta-analyze the predictive power of the TAM in the context of hospitality staff technology adoption at the workplace. The findings also demonstrated differences in the predictive power of TAM constructs according to job level and cultural differences.

ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in changes in consumer behavior and has created new opportunities and challenges for the provisioning of green products in emerging economies. The objective of this study was to identify how perceptions on COVID-19 affected the variables of planned behavior and responsible purchase intention during the pandemic in Colombia. A total of 320 consumers participated in an online survey, and the responses were analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM) and AMOS 24 statistical software. The results were positive regarding the development of better environmental awareness, indicating that COVID-19 (COV) influenced the attitude (ATT) of individuals and contributed to subjective norms (SNs) and perceived behavioral control (PBC), and that SNs and ATT influence eco-friendly purchase intention (EFPI). However, PBC does not contribute to EFPI. Colombian consumers have become aware of the importance to society of buying eco-friendly products, and planned behavior is an opportunity for organizations to formulate new portfolios relevant to the needs of the market. This is an important opportunity to sensitize consumers to the purchase of environmentally friendly products and for the identification of commercial strategies by companies that bet on the formulation and commercialization of eco-friendly portfolios that generate value for society.

Background: The World health organization declared the coronavirus outbreak a global pandemic on March 11, 2020. Telemedicine was one of the effective tools that were implemented during this pandemic. Most Lebanese physicians have been using telemedicine to perform virtual medical services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, it is important to assess the physicians' acceptability of telemedicine and willingness to use it in routine health care settings. Objective: We developed and validated a tool based on technology acceptance model (TAM) to explore the acceptance of telemedicine use during the pandemic among Lebanese physicians. Theoretical Background: Telemedicine Acceptance Model during Pandemic (TeAM) was developed based on TAM. The model was developed considering the associations between constructs affecting the physicians' attitudes about telemedicine use. TeAM is a tool assessing telemedicine acceptance based on the TAM. It has additional constructs tackling the perceived risks of telemedicine use, the perceived need for policies, the perceived need for training, and the perceived usefulness of telemedicine during a pandemic. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted online through an email-based questionnaire sent to physicians enrolled in the Lebanese Order of Physicians. Results: Three hundred ninety physicians (n = 390) completed the survey. The tool was structured to test 10 hypotheses, out of which 9 were supported. The Cronbach's alpha score of each construct ranged between 0.745 and 0.905, all greater than 0.7 indicating an acceptable to excellent internal consistency. Conclusion: This study was able to validate TeAM as a reliable tool that can assess the acceptance of telemedicine among physicians. Accordingly, several determinants influencing this acceptance were identified. Practice implications include hospitals, primary health care centers, and national health care systems willing to adopt telemedicine can use TeAM to assess the physicians' willingness to accept the implementation of telemedicine in their practice.

ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic enhanced the use of telehealth as a means of delivering services to patients who required continued and uninterrupted care. This helped to reduce readmission to hospitals where COVID-19 hospitalization was prioritized. Patients with HCV and HIV and other chronic diseases require this type of care. This study evaluated the post-pandemic acceptability of pharmacist-delivered telehealth services among HCV and HIV monoinfected and coinfected patients in Washington DC. This was a cross-sectional study conducted in a community pharmacy setting in Washington DC whose primary outcome was the acceptability of pharmacist-delivered telehealth services through a proposed platform(docsink). A validated questionnaire, borrowed from the literature was used to determine telehealth acceptability, measured as behavioral intention, among patients who receive care from this pharmacy. The study recruited 100 participants. Descriptive statistics were conducted as well as bivariable and multivariable analyses to assess predictors of telehealth acceptability. In the unadjusted model, PU/EM (OR 0.571, 95% confidence interval (0.45-0.73), P < .0001)), PEOU(OR 0.72, 95% confidence interval (0.61-0.85)) and IM(OR 0.733, 95% confidence interval (0.62-0.87), P = .0003)) were significant predictors of behavioral intention. Overall, the study found that lower Perceived Usefulness/Extrinsic Motivation scores decrease the odds of intending to use pharmacist-delivered telehealth (OR = 0.490, 95% confidence interval (0.29-0.83), P = .008). This study determined that the impact of perceived usefulness and extrinsic motivation was critical to the acceptance of pharmacist-delivered telehealth among a predominantly Black/African American study population.

ABSTRACT

Technological advances and COVID-19 have led to expedited technology use and online learning in higher education. Increased technology use and online learning have led individuals to either adapt or experience technostress. Higher education is a ripe context for technostress to occur, especially for students, since many courses are being offered in a hybrid and/or synchronous online format due to COVID-19. Students have often been required and/or encouraged to use multiple technologies, especially webcams, during online courses. Thus, this study explores the technostress students could be experiencing from requested webcam use as well as potential influencers and outcomes of technostress for students via exploring factors from Davis's [Davis, F. D. (1989). Perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and user acceptance of information technology. MIS Quarterly, 13(3), 319-340] technology acceptance model in a new proposed model. Results indicated the model was a significant predictor for digital skills, perceived ease of use, technostress, and cognitive learning for students being required or not required to use webcams. Implications for researchers and instructors as well as future research directions are discussed.

ABSTRACT

Ingredients for leadership development include strategic intent, sensibility, knowledge, analytic acuity, and the confidence to make tough calls. Emergencies highlight the importance of technical progress and the opportunity to enhance design and productivity. Significant technological and organisational barriers hinder acceptance of these technologies;hence it is necessary to employ strategy. Research should be at the system's heart through planned and unplanned transitions. The vision of building and maintaining business resilience and organising swift changes includes using perceptual methods. With this view, leaders can make deliberate decisions. It also tends to disrupt traditional approaches to dexterity. At the same time, strategic flexibility necessitates an evident connection between the business and the institution's mission. A leader's positive strategic intent is core that better enables investment in crisis response competencies. It includes timely use of knowledge management, organisational learning frameworks, business strategy, and system agility. Many nations in the developing world have simultaneously experienced the rise of digitisation and the spread of the covid-19 epidemic. Thus, academics should focus on the difficulties and prospects associated with people, groups, and management.

ABSTRACT

The COVID-19 pandemic forced teachers to suddenly change their teaching mode from face-to-face to emergency remote teaching creating the biggest disruption in the history of education. Despite facing significant challenges such as a lack of proper information technology training, teaching unprepared students, and infrastructural barriers, there is a gap in research on primary school teachers' readiness to integrate technology. This study aims to address this gap by utilizing the technology acceptance model to explore the relationships between primary school teachers' computer self-efficacy beliefs, attitudes, and intentions to incorporate computer-based technology during times of disruption. Participants were N = 144 Greek, primary school teachers, who taught in virtual settings during the pandemic. Findings from structural equation modeling showed that self-efficacy beliefs, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness are strong predictors of teachers' attitudes towards computer use. The study adds to the scarce literature on the crucial role of teachers' self-efficacy beliefs as drivers of their intention to use technology during emergency remote teaching. Additionally, it highlights the need to consider the unique circumstances in which technology is used and provides insights that can inform the design of effective interventions and policies.

ABSTRACT

This study aims at exploring the underlying determinants influencing students' continuance intention to use an e-Learning platform during the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on the technology acceptance model and expectation-confirmation model, the study investigated the role of contextual (i.e., social isolation), psychological (academic year loss and cyberchondria), and student support-related (government and institutional supports) determinants on students' continuance intention to use an e-Learning platform during the pandemic. The study collected data from 440 respondents and analyzed those with Structural Equation Modeling. The findings showed that an e-Learning continuance intention during the pandemic is affected by usefulness, ease of use, attitudes, and intention to use the e-Learning platform;while the behavioral intention is influenced by usefulness, ease of use, attitudes, contextual, psychological, and student support-related determinants;and attitudes are impacted by usefulness and ease of use. Moreover, usefulness is predicted by confirmation of expectation;e-satisfaction is forecasted by usefulness and confirmation of expectation;whereas, cyberchondria is influenced by social isolation;fear of academic year loss is influenced by cyberchondria. Finally, intention to use mediated the impact of usefulness, ease of use, attitudes, contextual, psychological, and student support-related determinants on continuance intention. The study contributes to e-Learning literature incorporating contextual, psychological, and student support-related determinants into the technology acceptance model and expectation-confirmation model, which guide policymakers to understand how all levels of students can be brought into the e-Learning platforms that eventually help to eliminate digital discrimination barrier in the academia during any emergency. The policymakers must be careful in designing eLearning platforms since students' e-learning continuance intention may vary due to unprecedented crises, such as COVID-19.

ABSTRACT

PurposeThe paper intends to comprehend the pattern of usage of FinTech services among bank customers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The paper also examines the factors influencing the adoption of FinTech services by using the constructs from the technology acceptance model (TAM) together with highlighting the issues faced in using FinTech services in Assam.Design/methodology/approachThe research is empirical in nature. Data have been collected from 1,066 prime earners of the households having a bank account.FindingsThere has been an upsurge in the use of FinTech services in the area of study. Apart from government and private service employees, businessmen, self-employed professionals, many daily-wage earners and agriculturists have also experienced an increase in their frequency of usage of FinTech services thereby making technology-based financial services an indispensable tool in enhancing access, improving inclusivity in the times of crisis and aftermath. Government support, trust, perceived usefulness (PU), attitude and social influence have a positive influence on FinTech adoption;however, perceived risks impact respondents' trust towards FinTech services thereby requiring necessary measures to evaluate organizations' preparedness to deal with cyber threats.Originality/valueThe paper provides insight into the factors impacting the adoption of FinTech services to stimulate superior connectivity infrastructure, robust security measures and maintaining financial stability with adequate supervisory and monitoring regulations to enhance trust towards FinTech services during the crisis and aftermath.

ABSTRACT

PurposeAlthough many studies have sought to address the topic of continuance intention among Fintech customers, the reported findings are fragmented. Therefore, the present study proposes a research model that integrates the main constructs involved in Fintech continuance intention.Design/methodology/approachThe current study uses a meta-analytic-based correlation analysis of effect sizes, meta-regression analysis and meta-analytic structural equation modeling, with 247 effect sizes in 69 studies involving 26,140 respondents.FindingsThe results reveal continuance intention is driven by satisfaction and trust, with ease of use and usefulness being antecedents of satisfaction and trust. The authors also found evidence to show satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between ease of use and continuance intention and that trust fully mediates the relationship between ease of use and continuance intention and partially mediates the relationship between usefulness and continuance intention. In addition, the authors found that in Western countries, with higher Human Development Index levels and greater of use of electronic payment, satisfaction has more impact on continuance intention.Practical implicationsFrom a theoretical standpoint, this meta-analytic study has implications for the literature on Fintech by offering an empirical generalization on the strength of the antecedents of Fintech continuance intentions and by testing possible moderators in a wide range of countries and studies. In other words, this study's goal is to broaden the scope of the research. Regarding managerial implications, it is important to listen to user opinions regarding the positive and negative points of their experience with these technologies and take them into consideration when planning improvements. Additionally, the analysis shows the importance of using data from user interaction with technology, obtained, for example, through big data analytics, whereby companies can see how users behave, how much time they spend accessing certain functions and which technological features they use most, and thus seek to improve whatever is needed.Originality/valueThis meta-analytic study advances the understanding of Fintech continuance intentions. Using the proposed approach, it is possible to generate accurate estimates of the effect size of each analyzed antecedent as the meta-analytic method jointly evaluates the results produced by a wide variety of studies performed in different contexts, allowing more accurate conclusions to be drawn.

ABSTRACT

Studies have been conducted on university students' acceptance of e-learning systems during COVID-19. However, less attention has been paid to students' use of e-learning post-pandemic. This research provides a more comprehensive framework to investigate the effects of e-learning students' various quality perceptions on attitude, learning engagement, and stickiness toward e-learning platforms. A survey-based quantitative method is adopted by this study in which sample data are collected from students in Australian universities. A total of 403 valid samples were analysed using covariance-based structural equation modelling. This study found that students' perceived educational quality, service quality, information quality, and technical system quality play different roles in their attitudes and behaviours towards e-learning. It expands the information system success model by comparing the effects of students' various perceived qualities on their ongoing commitment to e-learning. It provides insights to e-learning providers in pursuing better designs and more sustainable development of educational information systems.
